The Vivitar VPT 3600 has a hook in the center that your camera bag or any weight can be hung from it to add even more stability. It might be difficult finding a pro quality one for that price unless you go to a pawn shop but considering consumer digicams don't have a reflex mirror that vibrates upon shutter release you could easily get by with one that is less than top pro quality. The original request was for a tripod under $50.00 for occasional slow shots every once in a while.
